About Deborah

Deborah Baker Jr. was born on August 1st, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was raised in Wellesley and South Dartmouth, Massachusetts and the small barrier island of Boca Grande, Florida.

Quirky, stunning, and talented, Deborah discovered her love for theater and acting at the age of 3. She worked on small gigs and jobs until booking the ‘80s ABC show “Spencer for Hire” which she turned down when her mother took her out of “the ‘biz.”

She attended The Foxcroft School for girls in Middleburg, VA; a champion horseback riding school. However, Deborah spent her time on the stage and photography lab rather than the horse pastures. Afterwards, she was accepted to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and spent a summer at the New York campus and graduated from the conservatory program at the Hollywood school.

Deborah made her television debut on the NBC series “Life” and had her first leading role in the Foley Films feature, “Night of the Dog.” More recently, she starred in the feature film, “I’m Not Like That No More,” where she plays the funny & lovable “Jill” opposite Felipe Esparza and Paul Rodriguez. Her latest film “Lost On Purpose” she appeared along side Jane Kaczmarek, C. Thomas Howell, James Lafferty, and Octavia Spencer.

Deborah is continually creating & producing, and appears frequently on stage with her theater company the Loft Ensemble, a unique theater space in Downtown LA built in a refurbished dairy factory. Photography is still a passion of Deborah’s, and she takes photo gigs for fun when she has downtime from acting.

Deborah resides in Los Angeles with her dog Pearl and is managed by Triniti Management.
